Welcome to VFD-Funding
Thank you for visiting us at VFD-Funding. We're active volunteer firefighters and EMS personnel ourselves, so we know the stresses and challenges of the job, which are only compounded by the need for reliable apparatus, equipment, funding and other administrative services. We therefore provide grant writing/lobbying, low-interest loan and tax-exempt lease arrangements; with NO up front costs or fees required to volunteer, combined departments, and certain paid companies, and if our many other services are not covered in a grant or other funding, we finance these ourselves with the easiest possible terms.
Think of us as your "911 call for funding and consulting".
As we all agree, "Homeland Security begins at home"! Most firefighters and EMS services in the United States are volunteers. At VFD-Funding, we are pleased and eager to provide general administration consulting, computer consulting and e-commerce (fund raising) solutions, grant writing, grant lobbying and grant administration services to volunteer and combined fire departments and EMS services no matter their size or needs. Although we focus on volunteer and combined departments, we extend our professional and courteous services to select paid FD/EMS departments and cities as well. In providing these services, we handle all of those areas where most departments don't have the financing, personnel, the time, the desire, or the expertise available; so that you can do the job without these added burdens.
Because we're active volunteer firefighters and EMS personnel ourselves with many years of experience, we at VFD-Funding have set up our grant writing and tax-exempt lease acquisition services where there is NO money up front required. We even can finance our other services, only at 1%-2%, because we know that many volunteer fire departments, combined companies, and EMS services are on limited budgets, in small communities and yet need to compete with the larger urban departments for these much needed federal and state grants and services.

We shop your project and needs to various grant and funding sources to find you the best deal we can. We work with you and your VFD/EMS members so that they know what they are voting for and will do so with great enthusiasm.
This is why we only affiliate with the superb manufacturers and distributors of fire apparatus and equipment, merchandise vendors and per the financing, only those banks, brokers and other funding sources we know will work with us with integrity and professionalism. If their banner and link are on this web site, then you can count on them, because we do ourselves.
Although we focus on providing our excellent services to volunteer fire and EMS services, we realize that in many situations with must work with their local municipalities and elected officials as well. As the result of this, we extend our assistance to combined departments and municipalities for their general grant writing, financing and leasing needs for various projects. We have also extended our services to many of the major cities and their paid FD and EMS services, because many of these cities have the same needs and financial circumstances that the volunteer fire departments and small municipalities are experiencing.
