Letter from student:
Hi Eric and Melinda,
I hope this email finds you both doing well. I went through your class a while back while I was still an F/A-18 pilot in the Marines. I just got out of the Marines on September 1st of this year. I got a hiring offer by LA City fire on September 15th. I start on December 17th in a couple of weeks. I had also applied to Long Beach and Orange county fire departments. I scored a perfect score in all my interviews. They were all very impressed that I had completed a fire academy while still working in the Marines. You're school made that possible! I am also entering the reserves and will fly Blackhawk helicopters. Eventually I aim to fly LA City fire helicopters. I am looking forward to my new career. Thanks for helping make it all possible!
Sincerely,
J-P Archer
