Fire Academy Online is a Houston, Texas based training facility. It is designed to meet the needs of the man or woman who wishes to become a firefighter but lacks the time necessary to complete traditional training courses--until now!

Fire Academy Online can make what seems impossible POSSIBLE! Through Fire Academy Online, future firefighters will engage in a self-paced online program with 12 days of hands-on skills training that meets the requirements of NFPA FFI and FFII, and HazMat Operations and Awareness.

The training is approved by the Texas Commission on Fire Protection. The Commission is accredited by the International Fire Service Accreditation Congress (IFSAC). Upon completion of the hands-on skills training, students may participate in the Texas Commission on Fire Protection's examination process in order to obtain state certification as a basic firefighter and/or IFSAC seals for Fire Fighter I, Fire Fighter II, Hazardous Materials Awareness, and Hazardous Materials Operations. Please note: It is vital to check with your local jurisdiction for details on their individual IFSAC reciprocity policies.

   • Meetings on Saturdays for Skills Session
2. Fast Track:
   
   • Complete all Online Academics at your own pace!
   • At the end of the 12 weeks, meet for 12 consecutive days for Skills Sessions.
